I honestly thought you didn't take me serious when I said this was my old back yard........Waterville is 20 minutes down stream........I can bring the Rova, the new 4Runner, or if there;s enough snow, grab the gangs tracked Blazer for fun with extra butter and tow straps! If it gets real, my side kick Allen 'just' picked up an f350 4 door on tractor tires, 22" of lift, military axles, 10 cyl with a good heater, we'll pull ya through!!!! Don't Dare Us!!!!!

I hear ya, just having some fun!
Maine is pretty strict on rust, so I'll have to stay on it once set up again in order to get new plates.......I'll be running the Kentucky plates for as long as possible!

While you were on your hiatus this summer, I bought you a present

Glad to hear that you arrived safe and sound and that everyone is happy and well. I bet it feels good to finally be back in your old stomping grounds

Well hey, thanks!

Even though I'm inland, it's plentiful right off the boat same day or day prior locally! Bonus, friends have a direct boat connection and for larger orders they just bring it over! Two thumbs up!

You can't be too far from the coast and it's gorgeous everywhere (or so it seems) in Maine. Drove up the coast years ago in October and there were seaside lobster shacks peppering the landscape. Sadly the guy I was with wasn't into seafood He kept insisting that we go to Italian places - and don't get me wrong.. I love Italian but when in Maine, what comes to mind? Lobsta!!!!

Thinking that perhaps it was financial reasons that was holding him back, I finally hog tied him and told him that we were going to go have dinner at a wharfside restaurant in Kennebunkport - my treat. Best lobster I ever had The company?.. mmm not so much

In 91, two lobster dinner was $12.99...in 94, same dinner cost $18.99. But each time we were out there, I got 3 for the price of 2...one time one lobster had a missing claw...and the second time I believe the cook thought I looked extremely hungry. Both times at the same diner up town BH. Never had the same luck in Trenton.

What's the going price now? Thought I heard it was on the down side.

Brian.

Hi Brian,

It can vary.......Just under 5 dollars a lb dockside, the lobster guy who's here every weekend is just under 6 dollars a pound......in the stores you'll still pay 9 dollars plus, restaurants just say 'market price' so you have to ask.....the 20 purchased and delivered a few weeks ago were $4.45 a pound through an insider.
