This 94 is actually in better shape than any of my other D1's.

I'm in an unincorporated area so pretty much anything goes, which can be good and bad.

Yes, pretty nice shape for a 94. Looking good. Is this the diesel model you found? Thought I read somewhere you had one...but I thought it was a stick also.

Brian.

And pulled all the seats, and that bastard foam insulation. I POR15'd the front floor pans and a couple other slightly rusty spots, then used an oil based Rustoleum paint.

Looks great, could you tell me what paint you used on the floor? Did you brush it on?

I used a rust encapsulator called "Miracle paint" to seal the rust and holes, but I didn't cover the whole floor, looks like she has leprosy now..

Do you notice any noise or heat difference without the carpet/foam? I'm doing a false floor project myself right now, and was planning on just putting the board over the carpet and using the d-ring bolt holes to secure it

I used POR15 to spot treat the few surface rust spots.
I brushed and rolled on Rustoleum oil based paint over the entire floor. This stuff: https://www.menards.com/main/paint/e...15176507250892
Its pretty good stuff, we use it on our fire hydrants in town.

My old truck had no headliner, and no floor foam. Its was kinda loud. This truck I might throw some Dynamat in and I have the original carpet to go back in.

I like how your floor turned out. I will be doing the same thing some time soon. How much Rustoleum did you use and does it come in a can or a gallon?

I bought a gallon and used about 1/3 of it. I had a bright LED light shining in there last night a could still see a little red where I had brushed it on ado a second coat is probably on order.

Removed all the old sealer and rust and painted. Next step will be applying some Leak Sealer spray per the TSB.

Hey fishEH, what paint / sealant did you use behind the fender?

I have mine off at the moment to install a snorkel and figured I'd clean it up the same way
