Thanks 96 ROVER! I actually have family in Alpharetta and spend thanksgiving down there every year. My '98 interior is actually quite good so I plan on transferring a lot of it. The seats I'm not sure on yet. I plan to buy a welder and I'll either make my '98 seats work or I'll install some racing style ones.

Don't waste your time with the seat transfer from 98 to 95 just pull the foam and cover off and transfer I went threw 3 seats until I did that the floor plate and hump is different so it is a lot of trouble. If you go to see lee bring your tools and have fun he has a lot of rovers just call him first and let him know what you are wanting to do. The floor pans and seat bottoms and tracks don't match at all. If you need a tranny I have one also.

Good idea on the seat bottoms! My trannys are both good I think, but thanks. Still interested in that MAF if you have an extra.

Dug into the trans tunnel yesterday for a bit. Figured I'd start here since the gear selector is difficult to move.

I found part of the problem; full of nasty gummy residue, hair, change, sunflower seeds, and other assorted garbage.


Also stripped out the carpet and padding on the drivers side floor. I was fairly disappointed with how much rust I found in that area. Definitely far worse than any other part of the truck, which overall is pretty good. Still, I didn't see any holes and I think its all salvageable with proper treatment and sealing the windscreen better.

Haha, he can have it, it was empty.

Forgot I fixed the passenger side door! It wouldn't open with the outside handle. I tightened up the linkage inside the door and that did the trick.

Had a little down time tonight while my wife had friends over. Decided to retreat to the man cave and make a D2 cruise control adapter.
I cut the solder joints on the back of the board to preserve as much pin as possible.

Cut off the angled part of the longer tabs and bend up the angled part on the shorter tabs for more contact.
