If you were closer I’d do it for you. Easiest way is disassemble- keeping track of the settings ( if it ran ok before) and soak it in tyme cleaner for a day, spray off after with brake cleaner than compressed air. New gaskets and assemble with little bit of oil or grease on threads.

Best stuff ever for carbs. I’ve been reusing same liquid for 10 years at least. Probably 50 carbs. Although 30 of them were 2 stroke sled carbs

I 100% agree but for some reason they never work right when I’m done

Rebuild a motor sure no problem, transmission sure I got this.

Me seeing a carb.....

Done that to. Pretty sure that bike caught on fire shortly after I rebuilt the carbs and sold it.....

Kidding but the carbs weren’t right at all

I had a meeting with the carb and it didn't go well.

Found a local place that sounds promising for a good rebuild on it

Looks like its flipping you off too...lol. Surprising you are having so many issues with that carb, usually, Holly's are pretty straight forward design and reliability.

Hopefully, the rebuild goes well.

Brian.

Carbs and I have never gotten along. That’s life.

So I finally switched the plates on the Land Rovers over to Georgia, being active duty I don’t have to but this will end up being home so I figured renewal time was here so.

Surprisingly easy process, just a lot of paperwork to re-title and plate them all.

I decided that I would quit being half arsed about it and using trim moulding tape.

So I drilled holes in the back of the tub. I sealed off the old Brit ones later.

Then I broke out the thread sert tool

In went the treaded inserts

Test fit with the Camel Trophy plate. It’s centered with a normal plate but not that poor abused old thing.

That plate will end up on the front of the 110. It’s such a cool plate and needs to be there.

I had one tired worn out door pull left up front and one that was snapped. Last year at the Auction for a fallen Rover owners family I picked up Series Defender billet door pulls and clock bezel. Great family and a great cause, was amazing to see the community rally. I gave all the cash I had up at the auction. Also amazing how many vendors sent items for the cause. So check out Series Defender Outfitters for some really well made gear. The cottage industry is alive and well here in the states and they are a shining example.

So out with the old and in with the new awesome. Guess I need to find a NAS Defender square clock though. Or maybe swap in a square mount USB covered USB port.

So the ROW clock is round and NAS is square. Series Defender Bezel is set up for NAS so I have been on the look out a Defender clock and have seen very few used ones. The few I saw were crazy money. It got me to thinking that I had a couple RRC Clocks floating around somewhere I thought. So I went digging tonight and found a winner. Even RRC clocks are going for $45-50 so this was a win in my book.

Now I just need a cigarette lighter and a switch to fill all the openings. Oh and a bit of trimming on the dash panel
