Well since I had that awesome spot for a cigarette lighter in the dash now. I went ahead a made.the hole in the dash for it. Since I don't smoke I installed a USB dual port in its place
Glad to see your back to working on the 110 even if it's the longest build which I believe its not, there's an MG somewhere out there....... You've got enough projects to last you through your second retirement....... I just came off an eight week work schedule, no days off. Pretty easy compared to a Deployment. I've been keeping up with the forum but not a whole lot of energy to say much cept now. Now that Brain as a Depender that should keep you interested. If this week ended with glitter does that mean next week will end with rainbows and unicorns?
A small amount of metal flake, towards the end of draining axle...would be somewhat normal. Usually, you'll get a small area in the pan...just as it finishes empting. If it's never been changed before, a lot of that material will be from original manufactoring and break-in of gear set. Were you getting any strange noises from the diff?
After seeing what you've been up to all weekend...l kind of hate to mention me pulling the brake light switch on the 110 and cleaning the contacts inside...lol.
My build is off to a snails pace...so...l may grab your self imposed title someday. Keep up the good work.
ihscouts...eight weeks straight! Hell, anymore...working eight weeks with weekends is getting old.
Brian.

I'm replacing it so no matter either way. Full 24 spline set up going in..
There was a fair amount of metal in all the fluid from the swivel housing. I am hoping it is destroyed inside as it would be the smoking gun I’m looking for on a wheel bind and lock episode I had. Also would be the cheapest and easiest to fix so I’m sure it’s not it.
