I do not, I can say that I love my general grabber x3. Good wear and not very noisy compared to how aggressive they are and they are fantastic aired down off the pavement. I usually stay away from yokohama's due to some uninspired sports car tires that didn't perform up to their claims imo

I had the General Grabber AT2 and was underwhelmed with their performance off road. On road they were not bad but wore very quickly.

That being said I love the look of the General Grabber x3. Just concerned with longevity of them. How are they wearing for you?

I’m wearing Duratracs, no need to swap for our two seasons here. The Geo’s look like they’d do fine on and off down there. Price is right I wouldn’t hesitate trying em.

So far so good, I'm almost to 10k miles with a good amount of off-road time on them. Just the nature of the beast the ratio is more highway than dirt but they haven't chunked or taken any damage. Most of the offroad I've done this year has been more on the technical side of things vs just forest road cruising just for reference. I have a buddy running them on his JKU in 35s and has almost 30k miles on them and they are wearing very well for him.

The AT2 and K02 since they look to be almost the same tire (I ran K02s prior to the x3s) were fairly terrible unless on dry moab slick rock....I also had some major sidewall issues with the K02s but that is a different story.

I wasn't impressed with the set of duratracs I tried out for a short while before the grabbers (they were very worn and trail conditions I used them on were far from ideal for any tire so it wasn't a fair comparison) They are super popular out here in CO and I've heard great things about them in the snow. My concern with them is if I remember correctly they have thinner sidewalls than other tires in this segment and I had 1 blow out on my K02s and 2 others from the set with compromised sidewalls upon getting home from that trip (it was a tough trail but I did not put tires in positions that would have done that level of damage, also not on duratracs but the K02 sidewalls were supposed to be one of the "strengths" of that tire...) so that was my reasoning for trying something different with thicker sidewalls.

Lol. I wasn’t suggesting Duratracs, I wouldn’t wheel em. They’re a good dual purpose tire for my on road daily. I was saying I’ve no experience with the Geo’s. That was a spot on critique.

My daily run tire right now on the LR3 is Wrangler Ultra-Terrain. Considerably better off road than the AT2 (I agree total rip off of the KO2) but not amazing if you find wet clay which was expected. Now for off road I switch to the Atturo Trail Blade MT 33’s. They do better than I expected off road, the can really dig the sidewall cleats into clay dirt and hold the truck on a line running it that way. Impressive really.

I am kinda thinking like IH on this the price is really reasonable in the size I want to start with. If 35’s are to small I can always swap them over to the excursion and get 37’s

A lot of folks on the east coast run the duratracs with great success.

If you try em then we'll all know how they do, just keep up the hemorrhaging for the rest of us.
