The seats are almost done these have been done 💯 in house so I am super impressed with how they have come out. We added seat heaters as well of course..




then the age old question of white letters out and what wheels to run.

 

Typically, sports car - out, 4X4 - in. White letters-out get scuffed up and look crappy after wheeling, rocks and mud play havoc on them. Better to have the ugliness on the inside of tire. Now, if she is going to be a "garage queen" or "all show, no go" (which l know you're not leaning towards)...then it doesn't matter.

 

And, l believe l fit the "age old" requirements for answering that question...

Being serious for some reason with the 80's feel of the truck I keep going back to the raised white letter 4x4s of my childhood and wanting the letters out. I highly doubt the letters will be the most beat up part of my truck showing lol

I am leaning towards the boost wheels though I love some old RRC Black 5 spokes I have but I am one short for a set of 5

Tomorrow hopefully we will be starting it. I think aside from a few button up things on the engine I am ready to run the setup wizard on the fuel injection and try the key to see what happens. We won't be able to run it long at all as it has no exhaust outside of the manifolds. Then by the end of next week we should be able to land it in a exhaust shop.

I wasn’t sure how I would like the tread plate on the lower quarters but I think it blends in the bumper corners a bit and cleans up the look.
