In floor storage bin I think we are going to skip the hinge and leave it lift off and we are going to add a door to the jack garage to put the camp stove in there
closed the shop up early as it’s birthday weekend for me on Friday and dad on Saturday and went for a ride. It was fantastic right up till his bikes battery died lol

Yup we got his bike cleaned up the battery had cracked so there was a mess. Going to try a lithium battery in his and see how that does.

you guys are now pretty much caught up to real time. Sorting out some floor patches and then I need to come up with trans tunnel and finish hooking up the transfer case shifter

Been dreading sorting this out if I’m honest the trans tunnel a first glance is a pretty daunting task. Going to see what I can mix and match together
Did some mixing and matching and it looks like cutting down the original rear piece to make a flange along with the unmodified front and the lt85 center piece is a winner
Looks factory, wait, better than factory.
You got to be getting close to being driveable.
I know you said you were undecided about a rack, but what l'm noticing with mine during this trip, loaded down, but nothing crazy...is an extra set of shocks on the rear axle would be nice. Or maybe something more heavy duty.

It is definitely getting there I have the trans tunnel nearly buttoned up now. Need to hook up the lt230 shift linkage and it should be ready for final assembly. Then sound mat carpet etc
the frame holes are there on mine for a second set of upper shock mounts the lower mounts would be the only thing to really fab. I have Land Rover he rear springs for the weight but we shall see
I may be doing a little something with a rack
