deadlines will do that to you 😁. I’m out in the shop generally 7 days a week. A couple hours after work each day and all weekend.

While we are in a cutting grinding and welding mood we might as well tackle that rear crossmember I have been putting off for a decade

i really don’t want to do this one 😳

Bilstien 7100s unsure of valving for a defender but love em on my classic. Far better than the foxes I have on one of the d2s

Continuing on with the rear crossmember. Fit was pretty decent but needed a bit of work to get it all lined up

Had to make a turn and burn trip to Macon I found what I was 99% sure was a ARB Defender winch bumper with old school cool IPF lights. It was cheap and lost for a samurai or jeep or something not sure, but I certainly recognized it. So the Masai bumper was short lived but you have to love an ARB on a defender. Super happy that my dad is back in town and we are wrenching together out in the shop again

Bumper being test fitted along with the swing away. Not going to lie getting all thenbolt holes drilled and lined up through both sides of the crossmember and into the blind holes on the bumper was a nightmare
