Worlds longest slowest 110 build thread
Got the linkage sorted out, the disco box high/low lever points straight up on the lt85 set up it points to the front of the truck and has a much different linkage to make the connection. So I swapped the lever housing off the lt85 box to the disco box. Now I think we can finally close the tunnel. Remember to nut and bolt checks when you are doing big projects like this found a bolt I missed on the trans to tc flange.
With the 35” tire on the bumper carrier I have noticed that rear visibility has been impeded a bit and since a smaller tire is not happening I ordered a wolf box rear view set up. Also has a dash cam built in and a gps speedo. Installation is pretty straight forward
Had picked up a original style steering wheel for it awhile back but it was a bit to plain so we queue’d the music and got to work on making it fit the interior
Got the steering wheel installed and man I love the look of the spruced up old school wheel
Finally have this pretty well sorted just waiting for new stainless steel screws to arrive
Well I can confirm it does move under its own power, the clutch is completely non-functional. So I need to sort that out. The punch list is getting much smaller but I have had to take a few days off from the 110 to get the shop and parts stuff back in order so I can finish the push to making it a daily instead of that supercharged L322 Range Rover I picked up for dirt cheap.
interior should be done by the end of next week
Also going to toss in a new Petronix Ignitor II Dizzy and coil
