Default came off !! won't go back !!??

Hi Everybody !!
New to this forum so I'll say hello...and how better than with a question.??

Have taken off my radius arms and replaced the bushes but .....
How do I get them back on ???
Have got the bolt on the back of the ~U~ of the arm and can not get the front to align ???
Do I jack up the axle or the chassis or what??? ... Help please !!!
Thanks in advance....

I use an old radius arm to axle bolt cut off to about 70mm and ground to a blunt taper as a locating pin. Then place a jack under the radius arm just below the axle and sometimes I need to pry between the radius arm and axle to move it in to position.

Many thanks,
I have seen on a video clip that if you take off both radius arms the axle can twist or move slightly ???
I have taken them both off at the same time !!! Trust me...
any clues on how to get things back on track.
regards,
Frustrated Frenchmen !!

Put a jack under the pinion and jack it up. Should rotate the axle housing enough to get that front bolt on the front of the U (end of radius arm) in place.

You Beauty !!!

All done and it drives like a dream !
The steel liners that go inside the bushes needed to be drilled out to accommodate the bolts...only a nats but needed doing never the less!
Deffo don't take the two radius arms off at the same time. Do one then the other !

Many thanks to all who helped !!

Bill.
