Hi,

I have a1986 90 and I am looking to replace the dash as it is quite tatty....has anyone tried it? I see there are some options to go with the TD5 dash, but I would prefer to keep it as close to the original as possible

Thanks in advance

Removing the dash is pretty straight forward, remove screws that hold defroster vents, all screws on dash cluster, heat/cigarette lighter panel and along bottom edge of lower dash panel. There is an Land Rover emblem/cover by passenger side grab-handle, pop that off and remove screw underneath. I believe you have to remove screws holding lower pass/drivers heat vents. This should get you close, been a year or so since l had mine off.

RHD (LHD could possibly be different, not sure, maybe the same...no other listing besides these two)

MWC9327PMA (upto vin# 455595)
MXC6084PMA (from vin# HA455596)

Looks like one is unobtainable through LRWorkshop.

Send me your email address in a PM and l'll try and send you all the parts downloads.

A guy (budzny) over on defendersource.com has a couple dash covers for sale (small and large vent). Just go to "parts for sale" and you'll see them.
