Post Diesel fuel abroad

Have Defender 110 Td5 model 2006. Here my question:
In the owner manual the standard for the diesel fuel to be used is very narrowly defined. I will be traveling in Brazil where the diesel generally available is contains ethanol. Would this be a problem for this engine?
My old Discovery which I drove in Africa would take about any diesel you put in and operate without problems.
Is the Td5 more sensitive?
Thanks for your comments

Peer,

not many on this forum have much experience with Td5 motors, being not available in US, although canada has some. Try defendersource forums or a european one. My guess is that the motor would adjust for that fuel but perform less well. Here in California they are trying to formulate diesel with ethanol like that. Hopefully it will adjust, be less efficient but ok, perhaps you might be changing fuel filters more often.

Cheers
