A few questions about oil pressure switch PRC6387
1985 2.5 N/A 90.
Hello, I have had an ongoing oil leak around the seal from the oil pressure switch. I took it out and have ordered a replacement.
Two things I notice about it are....while removing it seems to come into contact with the pipe from the fuel pump....is this normal.
The "aluminium" washer came off and it seems a pity that this could not be replaced with a copper or even fibre one, rather than have to replace the whole thing.
The size of spanner I had to use was a 26, which surprised me as I thought I read somewhere it would be a 24.
In any case I hope the replacement will cure the leak. Any tips regarding making sure it's sealed ?
