Hi there, I am new to forum and thinking of buying my first defender.
I have seen a 200tdi that has been converted into a station wagon. It
has 75k on clock with some service history and a complete refurb on
inside and re-spray on the outside. It has an A bar, side steps, sun roof
leather seats and benches in the rear. Its a lovely looking vehicle but
as it is 18 years old am i paying over the odds? Should I look for a newer
model. Am using it for local trips and towing my horses. Would love to
know your experienced opinion before I sign on the dotted line!

Good question. I am a long time defender (gas) owner. I think you question might be better answered at d-90.com. Their are a lot of guys with diesel d90's on the board.
