manuel to automatic conversion?
I'm driving a defender 90, 60th anniversary model, diesel engine with manual transmission. Does anyone know if it's possible to convert this to automatic transmission, what the pros and cons would be and cost?

Anything is possible with a large wallet. But performace will suffer (lower HP engine to start with), and you would want to have an indy shop provide you a realistic estimate and warranty for such a conversion.
