Post Rover North Bumper / Brush Guard Install Questions

Does anyone have experience installing a RN bumper and brush guard?

Instructions are kind of vague and nothing is ever simple with an LR.

1. First Image - Instructions --- No idea what recovery eyelets are, there were only 4 x bolts + 4 x washers installed vertically holding the old bumper on.
2. Second Image - Stowaways - found these two pieces jammed up inside but completely unattached, no bolts holding them in place. Recovery eyelets, perhaps? They need to be cleaned up but they are threaded for the same size as the mounting bolts in the bumper kit.
3. Third image - Brush guard mounting hardware - no instructions provided. Suggestions?

Thanks!

Instructions:

Recovery eyelets?

Brush guard mounting hardware. 4x bolts, 2x plates, 4 x washers, 4 x lock washers, 4 x plastic covers for bolt heads.

The four bolts with washers hold the bumper on, going in vertical just like original bolts. The recovery eyelets bolt horizonally through a tube welded to the bottom of the frame, you should have had to remove them prior to fittting new bumper. The tabs with treaded holes are for the vertical bolts that hold bumper on, they kind of wedge/captured into the opening on the front of the frame (below where the frame narrows, looking at it from the front). Those rusty looking tabs would have been the originals, weird that they weren't in place. But, these things have typically traveled through several ownerships by now and maybe they were just a set that fell into frame and weren't used. There should have been two of these type of tabs holding your original mounting bolts.

Typically, you remove the recovery bolts and hoops/eyelets, because the new bumper uses these two mounts for extra strength/re-enforcing for recovery.
