I have a 93 defender 90 with a 2 inch lift and 1 1/2 wheel spacers with 16 inch steelies. I’m looking for the tallest tire size that I can install. Would prefer a narrower tire. I have 235 85 16 on now which I are about 31” tall can I get a 35” on without interference?

 

I've got 285/75's on my 110 with 2"lift, basically 33'sX11.4. Lightly rub radius arms on full lock, no spacers.

295/85 come in at about 35.5 but 11.5 wide. So, if you want narrow but tall...295 would be your best bet. Granted, you have a very, very limited selection on tread patterns.
