Brian, no those are 15" steel beadlocks. Currently they have some best up 34x9 super swamper tsl mounted up. I have decided to start at 35x12.50 for now than move up to 37 if needed. I will probably be putting General Grabber X3's on it.
They are close in size though so it's helpful to plan the suspension needs.
Replaced radiator, hoses, new anti-freeze and threw in new glow plugs. Been starting harder lately, and when you turned the key to glow-plug cycle...no draw on battery. Changed them and now she starts right up and when you turn the key...it draws some juice now.
Good to see things are happening for you. Still in Texas.....
Not Defender really but I went over to Land Rover San Antonio to look around. Friendly awesome folks! I picked up a heritage t shirt and they hooked me up with a dealership hat.

1) New radiator. I'd change ten of these and eat a pound of dog crap...before ever doing another Dll. So easy, everything made sense (engineering wise) and no issues. Perfect fit, thank you Rovers North.
2) Some fender armor. Easy install, thank you Lucky 8.
3) Removed rear seats. Will start fabing up a sleeping compartment soon.
4) Thinking about using seat frame brackets in footwell, for holding the high lift jack.
5) Removed center seat and added a Dll cup holder (drivers side). Will be removing both front seats, smell like a wet dog...so...some different seats are in order. Plus, some arm rests would be nice. Some black Dll seats would be nice.
Rotated tires, had a slight shimmy after installing M/T tires. Remembered l'd had the same issue when these tires were on the Dll...and remembered they had a hard time balancing one...so...rotation was in order. 75 mph on the expressway...one handed. Before, 64 mph was a two handed bronco ride...and top speed driven.
Started working on my rack. Lots more to be done but, at least it's on the roof now.
Ordered a snorkel froom Lucky 8, should be here in a day or so. Was fabing up one, then checked online to see what one costs...fabed one got s*it canned...lol. Sometimes, it just ain't worth the effort and time.
Thinking about adding spring spacers to the front, the downward slant is getting to me...plus...when l add the new bumper/brushguard...it will most likely get worse.
