Embarrassed to be asking this, but I have a 1993 110 and it has no spare, nor any visibale space where a spare should be. I assume it should have a mount on the back door? Did they still put spares on the hood with this vintage model- or is that just the earlier series vehicles? Are there other options other than inside or on a roof rack?
If I've missed a previous thread on this please share the link
thanks!
Rear door is most common. They do sell doors without the mount holes however. They also sell mount kits for the hood however those can be annoying for visibility
there are aftermarket kits for a rear swing away mount. This is one option but it’s on the extreme end of the spectrum

cool- so sounds like there is no right or wrong, just preference. It must have been on the back door (mine has a replacement door, with no mount). Appreciate the info!
When l bought my 110, rear tire carrier bolts were cut off.
Ordered a new assembly from Rovers North. I'd call them and see if it simple a matter of drilling holes for mounting. Been a bit since l mounted it, can't remember exactly, but want to say it was just a plate with long studs (for tire) and a couple other holes, and then a bunch of screws around the parameter on the outer plate.
