I was getting some gas last night in my comapny truck and some guy was there selling FW-1 Fastwax. He was pushijng it as a way to clean a vehicle. I'm not a big fan of rubbing dirt into paint so I said no thanks. Then he said it was great for cleaning glass and road tar or pine sap. I had some pine sap on the hood so I said show me. He sprayed some on, waited about a minute then wiped it right off. I was impressed. Everything I have tries from commercial removers to non-acetone nail polish remover wasn't nearly as effective and left the area dull and nasty looking. This stuff left it looking as shiny as everything around it. I then had him clean the inside of the passneger window which was covered in doggy noes prints and slime. I always struggle to get that off with Windex. I came right off with this stuff. It also took the brake dust right off the rims. It wasn't too cheap at $20 for two cans ("normally $25 per can online") but since it seemed to work and I was standing right there I figured why not. It has carnuba wax in it among other things. Being sold by guys at a gas station is a little cheesey but for $20, why not? Has anybody else tried this stuff? For pine sap, glass and rims it looks like a pretty good product, especially where I live after the water outside is shut off for the winter. For cleaning an entire vehicle, I don't think it makes sense.

 

I use the FW1 when I don't have time to wax and I like it. The interior cleaner rocks as does the tire shine. The prices are a little steep but I got some for free to try out from the snap on guy so I can't complain.

 

I keep a can of it in my chevy pickup, it actually works great on windows. never tried it on paint though.

 

This stuff will turn tinted windows purple in a few months. NEVER use anything on tinted windows except plain old soap and water.

Also, a $1.89 bottle of rubbing alcohol does the exact same thing as far as removing tree sap, etc.
