Default Clean Air AC Vent Cleaner

If you have a smell in your truck that you can not get rid of no matter how much you clean the interior and use air fresheners, it might be from your air system. Clean Air is not an air freshener, but an air system cleaner. It is designed to neutralize the source of the smells inside the air system. The small can comes with a long thin tube so it will fit inside the interior and exterior vents without trouble.

Process

With the vehicle off, spray the Clean Air into all of the interior vents with 1 to 2 second bursts. Do not forget to spray into your defrost vents at the base of the windshield.

Start the vehicle, turn the AC on, and turn the fan up to high. Spray about half of the can into the recirculation air intake, normally located on the passenger side of the vehicle under the dashboard. Ensure the windows are rolled up and shut the doors.

Spray the Clean Air into the exterior intake grill, typically located at the base of the windshield. Allow the AC to run for 5 minutes.

After the 5 minutes is up, turn the vehicle off, open the doors and allow the vehicle to vent for 10 minutes. Then enjoy the fresh air cooling you off as the temperature gets hotter.

Clean Air also makes a fogging air freshener that partners with the vent cleaner to ensure all the smells are gone for good. You can read more about the Clean Air products by clicking here.
