I believe that on the older models you may have to spend $20 or so for a download from one of the commercial sites, I also saw where paper copies were sometimes offered for up to $175.

Disco's can smell money.

I finally found it, yes you have the "hard dash", it is the same dash that was used in the Range Rover Classic.

BTW v8discovery 1994 - your life will now have a significant number of hours devoted to a variety of unending minor repairs, purchase of increased numbers of tools, and significant grease build up on clothing. Suggest advance purchase of coveralls, and nitrile gloves by the box of 100. Locate Harbor Freight near you, and any salvage yards that allow you to pull your own parts (its like learning on some one else's chassis). If he has all these, and prompt access to the PC to reference the RAVE, foul language will be at a minimum.
