Default 1997 D1 SE7 Advice

I am new to the Land Rover scene. I am currently looking into purchasing a 97 Discovery SE7. I do not know much about these vehicles but upon seeing it today it looks like a great buy to me at $3500, but I wanted some advice...

Here is the description provided:
Hi there, Ive owned this truck for about 5 years. Always stored in a garage. Driven less than 2000 miles a year. Im a LR guy with 15 years experience with these trucks.

Good
- Brand new gas tank
- Recent Fuel pump
- Brand new battery
- Rebuilt transfer case
- PO did head gaskets
- Recent front brakes
- Old Man Emu lift springs and Bilstein shocks
- Front diff guard
- Rovertym HD steering rods w/ relocated damper
- Cooper ST 235/85/16 with maybe less than 5000 miles
- Rear Driveshaft converted to U joint
- Wired with blue sea aux fuse box w/ 12v connection in cargo area
- Mechanically very good to excellent, no leaks, no smoke, no weirdness, no vibrations

Bad
- Headliner not in the best shape
- Front drivers seat has been "repaired" by PO with some sort of vinyl glue
- Rear C pillar rust, both sides but worse on pass side. Rest of the truck is pretty good (rear floor, rockers, wheelwells)
- PA Inspection due next month, however I will take care of this if you come close to the asking price

Selling due to upcoming move!

The owner was extremely helpful in showing me the ins and outs of the truck.

I need to know realistically how much this truck costs to own and if $3500 is a realistic asking price.

Thanks for the help

For $3500 it should be MINT IMHO. These trucks aren't worth much, check again for rust. Sounds like it is well sorted but it is a buyer's market for these things.
