Default 225/75 16's

EDIT: Anyone running or had 225/75 16's on their stock D1. Looking at the 225/75 16's now over the stock 235/70 16's. I'm undecided if it's even worth the change. Any real changes in the two other than the 225's being slightly taller?

You're just nipping around the edges. If you really want to feel a difference, slap on a set of tires off a DII. I put a set of 255/65/16 General AT/2's on my DI a year or so ago. It was a nice improvement with no issues of clearance. You get a lot more rubber on the road.

I like the idea of wider but not sure how it would look on my deep dish alloys. Got any pics of your set up?

So the 255/65/16 won't rub on my 1995 Discovery? Any pictures ?

I’m running 255 65r16 on my 98, no clearance issues at all no rubbing even with wheel hard over, go for it
