Any benefit with going with 255/85 over 265/75 on a Disco I?
I plan on running the 2" springs, already have a TR front bumper and don't mind a bit of chopping.

Yeah, they're bigger! And I actually like the tall skinny look of them.

Trimming wouldn't have helped, or I would've had to trim way more than I want to. The OME MD just didn't give it the lift I thought it would. I haven't measured, but it's obviously not enough for the tire. The tire barely fit in the fender well. It even looked silly - to me anyway. It's for the best. I didn't want a huge lift anyway, this is just right. The ride is awesome even with the old beat up tires still on! Replaced the bushings too - blue)

I'm just going to go with a 255/65. Hopefully there will be no issues. They should be in in a few days. The Coopers looked really cool too, but I had to order General Grabber AT2s since they couldn't find the Coopers in the 255/65.

I'll update and post pics when I'm done. I had the HG done a couple of weeks ago and this is phase 2.

Uhhhhhh, if I did the math right a 255/65 is a 29" tire which is stock diameter I thought?
I run a 235/85/16(almost 32") tire on my daily driver with an Old Man Emu lift and it's money. Anything less than a 235/85 is a waste IMO.

Next best to 255/85 is 235/85 or 245/75. Both great fits.

With a 2" lift would you go with 265/75 or 235/85?
With the 5 speed this thing has a little pep to it.

235/85
better traction (except sand)
cheaper
lighter
better steering
better fender clearance
