Default 3.9 v8i "lurching"

Hi guys, any ideas would stop a grown man crying. Just bought a very nice 300 v8i with gas conversion, all fine for a couple of days but this morning, set off to work, started fine then when i got going it started to act as if it was running out of fuel or an intermitent electrical cut out. Lurching but when you put the clutch in it was revving ok??? seems to be ok at high or low revs, plenty of poer etc. but not in the mid range??? it's just had new ht leads?? no idea....am wondering why I got rid of my 200tdi! :-(

Could be a bad TPS, does it do it with petrol and gas or just gas?

You are going to have to experiment, run it on petrol and see if it acts up, then switch to gas and see if it acts up.
Different fuel means different answers.

ok, got some petrol in it, runs sweet, spoke to the guy that did the conversion and he recons it's a faulty plug which makes sense, I know very little about lpg as my first disco was a tdi. He told me gas needs a stronger spark than petrol which I did'nt know. I'm gonna get the plugs out tomorrow and have a look.
saying that it's run fine all day today on gas and petrol! bloody thing, I must admit though I am starting to enjoy the challenge, reminds me of running Lambrettas for year! lol, will I get to work or not?? and the noise is ace, it's had the centre box removed, my neighbers love me!!! will keep you posted on how things go with the plugs. If anyone has any experience of the best plugs to fit (on a budget) would be grateful. thanks for the help so far

Any spark plug will work, it came with Champion copper plugs from the factory.
