Hi all

i can’t find any where info about fitting a boost pin to a 300tdi auto, or don’t know if the auto makes a difference but I very clearly do not have the fuel pump that’s on every YouTube boost pin fitting video????

I have some for of electronic box?

do I even have the same type fuel pump to fit the boost pin?

Did you ever get around to figuring this out? Noticed mine was different before ordering one

 

300Tdi auto D1 owner here. Probably one of a handful in the states as mine is an import from the UK which is kinda rare compared to Defenders. I don't have a ton of hands-on experience with these so you might be better off going to a UK or Australian-focused forum.

As I understand it, 300Tdis with autos came with Electronic Diesel Control (EDC). I believe that's what we're seeing here. Mine actually doesn't have that.

It's possible to convert from electronic to mechanical, but if you're not into that, you might look at a tuning kit like this instead: https://www.lrparts.net/as-tu02-300t...low-meter.html
