Well I have to pull the 4.2 myself and am getting all the resources together for that endeavor. Still need to get under the Disco and check the noise from below.

 

Just so you're aware, all 4.2L engines were not serpentine like your '95 DI. While it's not a really big deal, if the 4.2L you're getting is out of a '93 or '94 the engine cover will be different as will the mounts for all the ancillaries. There are a few things you'll find will need sorting. It's not difficult but it's also not a drop in, plug in situation either.

 

That's the info I was looking for Paul. Do you know if I can bolt on the serp accessories? Ie the mountinginsoles are on the block and heads?
