Just don't stop in Easley to get an oil change, they won't work on trucks with Georgia or Carolina stickers that close to Death Valley. Getting to be a good time of year to drive up to Ceasar's Head, Table Rock, etc.

I lived in Easley and commuted to Gervais and Henderson in Columbia every day....

 

man, what a small world. I live in Easley and commute to Gville for work, but I moved here from columbia. worked in the wilbur smith building across from the state house there. AND I went to table rock last weekend. we're planning a trip to ceasar's head soon. The pic of my rover was actually taken at table park. Here's another pic I took on top of table:

 

I think we lived at 400 Perry Hill Road in a subdivision, when I moved to Savannah area it took 13 months to sell the house, then a week later BMW plant was announced and property values shot up. My uncle works for a guy who sold a cow pasture to BMW for the plant site for $7 million. You'll enjoy the back roads to Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway as well. As for the boring ride to Cola, I have a pal George who went to sleep at the wheel, crossed the median, came up on the other side going the wrong way, and woke up. Lived to tell about it, and it happened twice on that series of slow hills. I think they now have a cable barrier installed there.
