94 Disco, will not start

Sounds like you're on the right path finally..

Take that starter apart, Clean it up and get it working again..

Or just swap it for a new one..

Default almost there......

Well, we are almost there. everything is moving in order except now it wont start based on a perceived fuel delivery issue, spark tested, checked fuel in rail and pressure good. injectors are not working now. did i trip a fuse because of the battery being disconnected?

btw..i did check all of the engine compartment fuses they were all good as far as the ignition, fuel, etc. Not sure if there is something in the interior fuses i should check...researching rave manual now...

Helpful post. Do you know where the starter relay is on the passenger side? I have a '96 disco as well.

I also have a 94 and had a similar issue. If you trip the alarm the engine will turn over but not start. You will not get power to the fuel pump or coil. I don't have a remote so I had to disconnect the battery to reset it. In the tech section there is a write up about bypassing the alarm just in case. Hope this helps.

My mechanic friend disconnected the security relay on the passenger side and re-set the computer. I'm running w/o security, but I'm running.
