Default 94 discovery hesitation with throttle

Hey guys. not realy new to rovers but just got another d1 that has thrown me for a loop. Since purchase i have installed OME 2" lift, valve cover gaskets, front main seal, oil pan gasket, front wheel bearings, u joints in front drive shaft, gear oil in both axles and t. case, plugs and wires, removed and cleaned intake plentum, cleaned flame trap, replaced all vacume lines and im sure i am missing one or two things

Anyway,

The issue is it seems to have bad throttle response. sometimes it takes off well and other times it does not want to move. And on top of that no matter what speed you are driving at if you floor it NOTHING happens. When i say nothing happens that is what i mean. Even doing 70mph if you floor it, it acts like you are taking your foot off the gas and coasting.

Any input would be great
thanks

Check fuel pressure. Clean tank and pickup.

similar to the issue I had. Sticking valve p1316 code I think. In the process of going HGs and a valve job. at highway speeds it would stall out a bit (like taking foot off accelerator) sometimes at stop lights too or slow gradual hills. Good luck.

Get an ultra gauge and look at your real-time readings for throttle position sensor, MAF, VSS etc

It's OBD1, Ultragauge = Useless.

Have you checked your vacuum advance (perforated diaphragm)? Dizzy weights (springs)? Any codes on your Injection control box under the passenger seat?
