hi guys, in the last month i have done a lot of work to the truck. will update that later.
i am about to replace my fuel pump. i have a question about the special tool LRT-19-002 or Speedfit.
the question is do i need it? or can i use a pice of mig wire or maybe be redneck and use a coat hanger?
please answer i need to do this quickly.

 

Everyone else seems to use something at hand to turn the locking ring (large chain nose pliers, etc,). maybe be redneck and use a coat hanger - in Ocoee? Say it a'int so!

Also throw on a new fuel filter, their fittings are usually pretty rusted by now.

 

i think i can take the ring off. my problem is the fuel lines. i looked at the tool at think i can use some wire. i don't have time to order it. what do you think about it?

 

oh and yes ocoee. the best place for whitewater! its also my home town.
