Default 95 disco fuel pump won't prime

I ve got power to pin 30 and 85 at tbhe fuel pump relay with the key on but I am not getting the short burst to pin 86 when key is turned to start. Is there anything that would tell the ecm not to prime the pump. This has been a pretty sudden problem. it happened once few days ago but asfter a couple of minutes of pondering it started to work and then today went out to start the truck after a drive and I ve got the above situation.

Thanks Mike

That would be power to 30 and 86 by my drawing on page 19 of 734 for 95 Disco. ECU would supply a ground to 85 to pull in the relay, which will throw battery volts thru the inertia switch to the pump. Draws about 5 amps.

Try reset inertia switch. Alarm immobilization?

yes your right power is to 86, I can ground out 85 and run the pump so what is telling the ecm not to ground, I opened up the ecm and it looks clean and dry and thats about the extent of ecm diagnosing I can do. Does a 95 have an imbolizor I dont have a working fob and have never locked the doors.

The RAVE sasy it won't crank unless alarm is disarmed, but that may be just the starter. A used ECU may be an option, was about $30 for my D1.
