Hi Guys

Since I have put this other motor in the discovery my RPM gauge does not work. It did with the old motor. The motor I installed came out of a 95 discovery that had the RPM in it too. Any ideas so I can fix this?

Thank You
Walter

HI Guys

I have a problem. When the discovery is warmed up it is hard to start it back up. I am getting a Code #02 on the screen and code #45 that is an oxygen sensor. Do you guy have any ideas? I just replaced the fuel filter.

Thank You
Walter

The RPM's on my 94 comes from the alternator. Check the routing of the serpentine belt. If it is mis-routed, the RPM's will either work intermittently or not at all.

code #02 is just the code you get when the system has been 'reset'... did you unplug the batter recently or lose power? To clear this code just turn off ignition switch and then turn back on. should be gone...

for the 45 (right bank) code see here https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...-thrown-39371/

start there as it could be something far more simple than oxygen sensors.

Hi i have same problem a 94 LDD v8i, have fuel pressure around 2.5 bar as per instructions manual, have spark I tested both coil and plugs touched against engine to complete loop and sparks fine, but engine just spins freely and wont start.
I even used both a fuel additive for cleaning injectors, dispense water, and an engine starter spray called 'start ya bastard' but nothing on all counts.

Apart from scratching my head, is there anything else I can do?

Regards,

Stuck.
