Default '96 Land Rover Discovery rear break bleed help

Having trouble bleeding the rear calipers. Are they like the front where you open close the bleeder nipple? Is there a desperate screw from the nipple?

I can't seem to find a way to get the 7/16 wrench on the bleeder nipple.

On my 96 disco I usually just bleed the passenger side with a 10mm, open end wrench hope that helps!

Is the plastic/rubber cover still on the bleeder?

Bled my 98' yesterday, mine was an 11mm, YMMV. I could not get a traditional flare nut wrench in there. I used a standard 11mm wrench, just be careful not to round the bleeder off.

Speed bleeders ftw. Best $25 I've spent in a while!

The rust must have distorted the size. I too had a little trouble. I used a socket and gently tapped it on to the bleed screw. After I was able to break it loose I switched to standard open ended wrench. Of course being very careful not to snap it off. The bleed screw that is. I can't remember what that other bolt it though.

The other bolt is a plug for another line that is not used. Id replace the whole caliper looks like most of the metal on it is gone.

This is sound advice. Use the smallest 6 point socket that will fit on it. You may have to tap it on a bit to get the rust off. Take it off with the socket. Replace with a new bleed screw. M1.0x10 I think.

Looks like you live in the Rust Belt. Where are you located.
