Trying to roll the vehicle back and forth while trying to shift out of park can help it come loose.. good luck.

Default What a valuable forum this is!

Thanks for everyone's input, sorry to change up on you midstream, but its always nice to find a friend willing to lend a hand. Now I can search online for one from a salvage yard and have it shipped up here to Montana. I am moving into a rental home later this month, where I can work on it, and I will drive it there and park it. I was thinking it was something else, but it ran fine after I did that to it, so again, thanks, Fish-Eh! Having this forum has been a blessing, because as much fun as they are to drive, they keep you on your toes. Ill be willing to wager the one in there is the original. Everything Ive replaced so far has been oem.
