Default I read too many threads!Left stuck again.Stuck in park.

Here's the story. After a long day at work I have about 30 minutes to pick up my daughter from school and rush home and get her ready for karate class.
This alone is no simple task(she is eight).Hop in the truck to head to class and
truck will not shift out of park.I think oh no I have read about this.It has to be the brake light switch or the solenoid on the shifter.I think well I guess I will pull the **** and check out the solenoid. While trying to yank that sucker off(and not knock out my child) the small top cover pops off and reveals that the top clip has popped off a pin for the button release.I put it back in place and bingo!I wish every fix was this simple.A simple thing to check before jumping to conclusions.

Even the mighty Rover is no match for the karate master.

I told my daughter today she had to complement the truck or we may not make it home!
