So the local parts house TPS's are ok? I have never dealt with the TPS.
One other issue I have had is that mechanical linkage that is part of the throttle/cruise control system. Mine has had binding, I removed c/c and the portion where the bracket is has been loose a time or two. I know the manuals says that is not an idle adjustment, but if it is either loose or adjusted wrong, it does severely impact idle and it can ebnen bind and make Rapid Wide Open Throttle Syndrone occur. That was fun in traffic.

Well I installed the New TPS. You were correct it was the easiest task.
Now however the engine is idling at 1500 and occasionally climbing up to 2000.
Any thoughts on that? I was careful to place the TPS at the orientation on install so that it wasn't rotating the throttle.

You do this with the engine running of course.
