Okay so this morning I went to start my car and she would not turn over or anything. I threw her on the charger last night, and she still won't crank over or start. The Wiring on the bottom right passenger side makes a clicking noise, but that is it nothing else. The alternator is only about a year and a half old. Any help would be very appreciated.

 

Follow the black wire from the battery. It connects to chassis behind the battery, and the main connection to the frame is down at bottom of radiator. Needs to be clean and tight.

You can check this with a jumper cable, attach to black wire on battery and frame of truck. Other than that, time to get a volt meter.

The idea that a fully charged battery won't spin the starter, and just clicks; makes me think of a high resistance connection. Or solenoid wire unplugged on starter (the big positive cable to battery bolts on).

 

Okay, so I cleaned all the connections to the battery and it still will not start. The clicking noise is coming from the relays' on the passenger side, but nothing is turning over.

 

The connections I spoke of are not on the battery. While the battery connections must also be clean and tight, these other connections (frame ground) must be in good condition. The frame of the truck provides the return path for current going to the starter. If you have jumper cables, connect one from the black wire on battery to that big metal ring that sticks up above power steering pump.

You can also try banging on the starter firmly with a tire tool or hammer. This sometimes jars the solenoid contact into operation, it is a sign of needing a new starter.

 

Okay, so I completely removed the ground wire and it was very corroded. I will be going to pick up a new wire tomorrow and I will see what that does and keep you posted. Thanks for the help you have given me so far.

 

So I replaced the ground wire completely and reinstalled it, as it was before. I am still getting the clicking noise. I figured it was the ground wire since it was heavily correded, but after fixing it I am having the same issues. The postitive battery contact looks good on bothe ends.

 

If you don't hear the starter clicking (solenoid), but 12 volts is found at the starter and the solenoid cable (small one), then it could certainly be the starter. You could jump between the plus cable on the starter and the solenoid connection to "bump" the starter, be sure vehicle is in park with brakes on.
