FWIW-I have seen exactly ONE muti-function relay fail and it had a bad trace on the circuit board.

W/R/T the 10AS, they are weird and finicky beasts. Depending upon how it is set up (I believe there are at least two, if not three variations of the circuit) it can shut down spark, fuel, cranking, any combination, or all three. From what I've seen, it seems as though three out of five can be swapped without computer intervention.

How does one use one's trusty test light to check for pulse?

Oh and, what is a "10AS"?

Default ECU sending + or - 12V to injectors for pulse

Do the injectors have static +12V from the Multi-function-relay (pins 8 & 3) and -12V comes out of the ECU for pulsing? I can't quite understand the ECU / injector schematic in the RAVE ETM.

Lastly, how does one determine if one has MFI or SFI?

Anybody...input on "what is a 10AS?" Is it another name for the multi-function relay?

.....again, resurrecting old dead threads not once but twice. Awesome. One (1) new thread would do much more than two dead ones which don't cover your questions. If you need to refer to them just link them in your posts.......

Ok - thanks for the the advice that is almost completely devoid of sarcasm and condescension. Depending on the board, some places prefer not to clutter things up with new threads that DO in fact pertain to a topic in an (admittedly old) one. This thread's title is EXACTLY what I'm experiencing. Other questions I asked are about things mentioned earlier in the thread.

Nevertheless, I'll start a new one.

I'll probably get roasted for this..... Where's the new thread if you started one?

I have got same issue (no injector pulse , pump bypassed at Inertia switch) trying to resolve already cost me >$300 in diagnostic labour....🤐🤬🤐

Sounds like CKP sensor or immobilizer (anti-theft).

Cheers - I've got the anti-theft bypassed
and I gather you mean crank angle sensor - 97' V8
As far as I can tell this model doesn't have one.

about to swap ECU out of a working truck. Hearing earth problems can be a cause.
this vehicles had a lot of parts thrown at it and a lot of fingers in the pie before I got it - so its a bit of a Himpty Dumpty
