Default ABS pump relay

So, I went muddin last night, and i went through a mudhole and it killed the rover, I tried starting it and as soon as i got the ignition ON but not cranking this ticking starts under the glovebox, So i spend a couple hours today and i figured out what was ticking, http://www.roverparts.com/Parts/AMR3773.cfm That thing. So i yanked it out and it starts just fine, ANTI lock stays on and im sure i dont have ABS but common sense says if i replace the relay i should be good right?

That should have nothing to do with it not starting, if it did then it would not start with it removed.
Put it back and see if it starts.

I don't see how abs affects starting, you sure its the abs relay, there are like 100 relays under there?

Im 100% sure. Looked the part up online. It made a horrible ticking noise just like the sound when ABS is working when i tried to start it, It would crank over but not start. I took the relay off and it started right up. I put it back on and no problems... WEIRD!

Seems so, No problems so far. My guess is something got wet, i pressed the brakes and it must have surged that solenoid or something.
