Someone suggested here I grab a Volvo fan has its own harness and relay all built in, no idea who it was , got the fan but would like to see how they mounted it

Also gonna need an idea for part # on the coolant jacket switch , also put switch in the therm housing or that plugged hole in the intake or?

I'm contemplating doing this on the 110 since I need to do the water pump and was thinking I should do the clutch and fan while I was in there.

The sebring fan set looks promising.

The Volvo fan has he harness, relay everything right there, large fan thin blades , wire hot, ground and the other 2 wires are to turn on fan high or low and they go to ground so 1wire coolant switch

My issue is how to mount it clean beyond that it is just the thermo switch , I may need to find the one on the Volvo

I've also got a Taurus fan that I picked in a junkyard one day because I'd heard about this. I like seeing all these different ideas. Not sure if it was posted before, but this guy's website posted below sells the entire kit needed to install one from wiring to sensors. It's kinda pricey, but it's well made and beefed up for the high amperage drawn by the Taurus fans. You guys who have done this, what do you think? I find it hard to pull the trigger on $60+ for wiring when I only paid $20 for the fan.

Mark VIII, Taurus, Two Speed fan relay kit.

Nice link, there is a link in that link that has good directions for mounting a fan, still think I will stick to the Volvo fan, gonna try to run it with rover at idle to see what the startup is like on low and high cause with what I have all I need is a temp switch

The wire kits with relay and adjustable temp probe we usually use I think is like $70? At pep boys/ auto zone

Ok, I didn't realize they were that much. I like your idea, and I've heard of many people using that Volvo setup as almost plug-n-play. I guess I will end up buying one of his kits in the link since I already have the Taurus fan. Making one may only save me $20 and that's not counting Rover gas money from running back and forth.
