Don't believe yours has that relay, uses MFRU as you noted on SFI vehicles.

mine has always run constant when I have the key on for some reason. Why would that be???
Possible you MFR fuel pump contacts had been stuck in closed position. Replacement may be intermittent.

Relay module
The engine management system employs a relay
module, which houses the main relay and the fuel
pump relay.

Main relay
The main relay supplies the power feed to the ECM
with a tap off to feed the fuel injectors (8 amps) and
air flow sensor (4 amps). This relay is controlled by
the engine management ECM. This enables the ECM
to remain powered up after ignition is switched off.
During this ’ECM power down routine’ the ECM
records all temperature readings and powers the
stepper motor to the fully open position. Failure of this
relay will result in the engine management ECM not
being switched on resulting in engine not starting due
to absence of fuel and ignition.

Fuel pump relay
The fuel pump relay is fed from the ignition relay and
controlled by the engine management ECM. The relay
is activated in ignition key position 2 to prime the fuel
system for a period of time controlled by the ECM.
Failure of this relay will result in no fuel pressure.

It is on the control side of the relay. I checked voltage on the wires running from the ECU and when KOEO there Is 10.23 V and after a little while(15 minutes or so) something happened, the relay clicked closed and fuel pump came on so I checked again, there was 12.37 V. This is out of the ECU so would this mean I have a bad ecu or a bad ground somewhere.

I will be checking and cleaning grounds in the meantime

or a bad ground somewhere
Or high resistance in circuit going to gnd. Have you removed/checked connectors to ECM?

So I need an ECU there is a green spot where the wire ribbon connects the boards so found that much.

Does anyone know what a good resistance reading would be for the wires in the ECU harness to ground? JW
