Default Alternator bearings...

So anoter alternator issue, bearings are going out again. I ha it rebuilt for that September 2010, then in march I put a new voltage regulator on it, now my bearings are making noise. Any source for replacements?

that really sucks... no way to get whoever rebuilt it last time to fix it? seems they should last more than a couple years...

How much are you looking to spend? I just bought a brand new 160 amp alternator for $185 with shipping on ebay, no core charge.

It had a 1 year warranty, but that was in california, and I'm in Missouri now, so past an too far. I'm not gonna go with aftermarket, it's gotta be original, but I'm thinking of getting a used range rover 120 amp and using that instead. They are goin for bout 60 on eBay.

Ordered yesterday, 55 shipped with a 6 month warranty. Voltage regulator started acting up as well, so it's going back. This has something wrong they missed when rebuilding it if the same issues Keep coming back.
