Default Anti-lock en"light"enment

Today the anti lock light started to fade in and out while on the way home from work. Checked fluid and its full. Had to get one to baseball practice and another to BMX practice so have not searches threads or checked rave but it caused me to remember that when looking in the fuse box under hood I noticed that there is no 30amp fuse for the ABS valve. I've noticed no issues with braking, or system in general until light started coming on today...

If that fuse is gone the ABS pump is disabled so your ABS is inop

You can use a paper clip to read out the error codes. If you search, you'll get the pins on the OBDII connector and the decode sheet.

The system is worthless. Pull the fuse, and pull the bulb.

I can actually enable mine without error, but if I hit a good bump, the sensors come about 1mm out of the hub and I have to tap them back in with a mallet and a plastic punch. But even with them seated, the pump will come on at times when it makes no sense. I just consider the whole thing a curiosity of automotive genius from the past. I'm surprised it wasn't made in France.

no, paper clip works on the OBDII connector for Wabco ABS on Discovery 1 and RRC. For Discovery II you need the ABS Amigo or whatever, don't know anything about D2.
