.....on a d1?

besides the gutter being super brittle they dont seem to fit (as well) as well as on the D2.

any tips or tricks or shares?

got an opinion on (aesthetic or function I cannot foresee) removing the stock roof rails?

Can you explain what you mean by don't fit as well? I found I had to adjust their position on the crossbar so they didn't lean too far in/out. Otherwise they fit great.

OK that's good to know.

I spent a couple minutes on both trucks trying to get a feel for fit. It felt like the foot slipped in to a perfect position on the D2 but couldn't find the right grip/angle on the D1. I definitely heard a plastic crack when I tried to tighten it on the D1.

I'll go back out there today knowing you did it successfully and make it work,
