Anyone else messed around with plasti dip?

I must have seen a different setup in one of the videos, the hose looked like 6 feet long and there was another dude carrying it around behind the guy spraying. I figured it would take more material too, but 3 gallons did everything. I did already have the hood done though so I just put two fresh coats on top of it, didn't spray the a or b pillars either, nor the bumpers or front fascia. I also masked all of the glass whereas many folks paint over it and then peel which is said to waste a lot of dip. How many coats do you usually put on?

I did the hood on mine (like someone else on this thread mentioned) and it turned out great - I love it. I did mine with rattle cans. Masked off the area and then ran an exacto knive around where the tape was so I wouldn't peel off the part I wanted to keep on the car. It's got a rubbery feel to it. I never thought to do the black plastic trim pieces - might have to do that next.
