Cooter, what trimming & adjustments were required? Do you feel the wheel spacers where necessary (I saw that in your sig) or did they help in any noticeable way? I'm planning to swap out my 265s which as mentioned don't fit properly for some 235s, on stock rims. I've got the OME 1.5 & 2.0 lift and am wondering if you foresee any fitment issues (since you're running the same size)? BTW, what tread pattern is that?

I took a small slice from the back of the rear quarters "2 1/4"x 7"tall" and then cut the front bumper cap ends "2 1/2 forward from the lowest corner and brought it up to the crease" In my experience I wanted the wheel spacer to eliminate some of the body sway and top heavy characteristics of this rig. I knew the added height of the lift was going to add to the feeling that it already had and wider is always better. Also give me the advantage of a slightly different footprint if I am wheeling with several other vehicles. Here is pic of it with the rear tire stuffed and it still has 3" of room left in the inner fender before it tops out

Nice. I'm thinking for doing similarly, except without the wheel spacers for now at least. If I need to trim at all, I may add some black anodized checker-plate or diamond plate aluminum behind on the section behind the back wheels to strengthen it a bit, was thinking that would look pretty cool and not really be noticeable unless you were looking for it. Mine is white like yours, just different rims. Maybe I should think more about just getting my 265s to fit, rather than swapping out to 235s. Time and budget will tell, I guess.

I still have the reinforcement rods on the rear quarters, I am gonna do a roll on bedliner from the trim line down and both bumpers. Probably take all the rubber trim off when that takes place. I see the 265's as being very achievable with proper clearance work, spacers may help with the issue of the front rubbing on the insides.

If you get bored, you could come up here and do a little modding to my Disco...

I am looking at 32 super swamper sx's, waiting til the lifts are done before i decide on wheel spacers or not, prob tearing the running boards off and will look into cutting additional room if needed. not really wanting to make it a show truck, just want a meaner look to it
and i will post pics when it doesnt look so stock!

this is what it looks like now, just picked up the powdercoated lug nuts this afternoon

Lucky 8 has cut-out fender flares, but that might look funny with only 32s. You shouldn't have to trim much with 2" of lift though. Tires will rub your radius arm in front if you don't adjust the stops or get spacers. Looking forward to the pics!
