I was in town and saw an old American agriculture truck with some skinny & aggressive tires, Deestone, looked similar to the profile seen on the Michelin XZL 6r16 and these come in similar narrow sizes in a few different anachronistic tread patterns.

These appear to be affordable and available readily in America for the low $100s from what I can tell, rather than the $300+ for the harder to find Michelin but I was wondering if anyone had used some and verified fitment and reasonable warm weather performance? If they suck I guess I could always spend the dough on the overpriced Michelin but if a cheap alternative exists…

The pizza’s look great on old trucks. While at Overland Expo East 2017, I noticed one of the LR Camel Discovery’s had a set of Cooper Discoverer S/T . Tall and skinny and a classic looking tread.
